_Sphinx's Wager | 3 Comments | | | I am officially announcing that I will be attending the next Rancon*
(hopefully some time in fall). As there exist doubters among you,
I will be taking bets against my attendance.
Any bet made saying that I will not attend (be it backed in cash or goods) will be met by me. Payment will be made via mail, or in person at the next con whereupon all bets will be settled.
Leave your bets in the comments, if you feel lucky, punks.
* This applies only to official Rancons in the fall or winter. No special "lets make a Rancon to beat Sphinx's bet" count. Illness, death, terrorist attack and alien invasion do NOT exempt me from this bet. Bring it.

_Creo: Semper Fi! | 3 Comments | | | Everyone,
Well, another of our clan is off to serve in the US Military. Creo joined us in January 2001, and has been a solid CS player and clan member. He's leaving us tomorrow for the United States Marine Corps Recruit Depot: Parris Island, S.C.
He's signed up straight infantry, and has aspirations for Officer's school down the road. Good luck Creo, we're proud of you, and we'll miss you!

Yes, it's that time again. We're starting to guage interest in the next RangerCon, and YES... it will be in the Toronto area. Lok is sticking his neck out again, and offering to host it. Let's not chop it off.
Before he'll even think of starting planning, etc. he wants to see if anyone is even interested. The dates are the weekend of OCTOBER 23rd. That's most likely 22nd-25th, or something similar.
