_Update from the "field". | 3 Comments | | | Hey everyone,
Well, 1~ month down, 11 more to go. I've been re-assigned to the Multi-National Security Transition Command - Iraq... More specifically, Coalition Military Assistance Training Team. That's a lot of words, eh? The organization consists of many branches of the military from many countries. We're here to help re-build the Iraqi military so it can defend itself.
The Advisory Support Team I was part of was broken up, and I was reassigned to the "Green Zone" in Baghdad. The chow is great, and there are lots of other facilities I wouldn't get if I were at an Iraqi/Coalition Forward Operating Base. It's also fairly safe here, except for the occasional vehicle borne improvised explosive device and mortars.
I can't really get into the specifics of my job, but it's very rewarding.

_Catching up.... | 3 Comments | | | So, after pretty much the entire clan has taken a hiatus for ohhh...the past 3 weeks, it's time for an update.
First off, for those that didn't hear already NoXerus has resigned from his Trainee role. He has decided to quit CS:S, amongst other things. We wish him the best of luck, and thanks for your interest. Don't hesitate to drop by if you have the urge for some CS:S down the road.
Secondly, our CAL competitive team has been struck by some sort of apathetic virus. Random disappearing acts, lies, meteor showers, and other paranormal activity has stricken Clan Rangers into a downward spiral from the sparkling 2-1 record to a paltry 2-3.
Evidence of a new panacea entitled "Motivation (C)" has surfaced...rumor mills are churning as some suspect it has reached leadership hands...
More details to come.
