Hello Rangers! Our buddy Zergling came to me with an invite to a small tournament he is organizing. Should be a great time, hopefully we have a lot of interest. Information is below:


Gents -

I'd like to see us have a tournament next week involving 4 clans/teams that are mature and trustworthy (i.e. non-cheating) players. So far it looks like we have interest from MoB, R2 and of course OTH. I've asked Goat to reach out to Zero Point Gaming so we can have 4 teams - also KFC said they might be able to squeeze out two teams. I roughed out a bracket based on 4 teams, double elimination with 6 games over 3 nights. Here's the schedule I've come up with:

Game 1 - 12/20 - 8PM - de_dust2

Game 2 - 12/20 -10PM - de_dust2

Game 3 (loser of G1 and G2) - 12/21 - 8PM - de_nuke

Game 4 (winner of G1 and G2) - 12/21 - 10PM - de_nuke

Game 5 (loser of G4 and winner of G3) - 12/22 - 8PM - de_inferno

Game 6 (winner of G4 and G5) - 12/22 - 10PM - de_cpl_mill

We'd use CAL rules and teams would agree on a server before the match. No screen shots or challenges - this is just for fun. If this works out well, we can do again during spring break and dress it up with a couple more teams, commentators and sourcetv for matches, prizes, etc. For now, I just am tired of playing PUGs from #sourcescrim.

The above is all a suggestion, but let's not quibble over details and get this rolling. If you guys want we can move the matches to the week after Christmas - up to a vote on that one.
