So many of you have probably noticed I have not been around much the last couple weeks - this was due to me finally completing the writing my thesis. So, after many long months of research, I have submitted the draft to my adviser. If all goes well and there is no major rework needed, I should have everything wrapped up by the end of July.
The end-game, is earning my M.S. in Electrical Engineering.
The end of school is so near I can taste it.
So on to my real point - I have been talking about revamping our "clan model" for a long time, making it more relevant to the current community. This fall I would like to begin that transformation, so with school ending I can start formulating that plan.
I want as much input as possible on this, so I encourage everyone interested to pass along their ideas to me on a few key points:
1.) infrastructure (servers, website, ftp repository, etc.)
2.) finances (voluntary or a dues system)
3.) organization (autonomous divisions for new/old/current games)
4.) member involvement
I have ideas of my own on these subjects and more, but the more opinions we have the better we can build a quality system.
The best way to communicate your ideas is through the forums - start a thread if one does not exist, or add to one if it does.
/me salutes
